RIP SINEAD O CONNOR! DIGIT MUSIC CMPSR? ZYNTHIAN 5! I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY?

RIP SINEAD O CONNOR- It's 1990 & as a child I remember hearing the song & seeing the iconic video for: 'Nothing Compares to You'. It was No.1 in the UK charts. The song & video stood out to me. I like her performance in the video for that song. Another 2 songs that I really liked is when she sang the vocals for the trance song: 'Tears from the Moon (Tiesto in Search of Sunrise Remix)-CONJURE ONE & 'Troy (Push Remix)'. She released 10 albums over the years. Her most successful album; 'I do not want what I haven't got' in 1990.

Sinead was not afraid to speak out. I don't think it's easy to speak out. I admire her for that.

DIGIT MUSIC have announced the 'CMPSR' (pronounced 'Kuhm-pow-zuh). What is it? Remember the gamer style joystick? Well, it has a joystick with 8 pads. It's a midi instrument. It features:

Midi, USB-C or Bluetooth (Wirelessly)

This looks like a fun midi controller. It's certainly different from playing a midi keyboard.

ZYNTHIAN 5- The first version was created in 2016. What is it? It's an open source, hardware, standalone music making device. The good thing is is that its you can upgrade, repair & adapt it.

Live looping sampler
Multitrack audio recording
Audio/ Midi/ Recorder/ Player
4GB Soundfonts (with Raspberry Pi)

One thing I will say is that it comes in kit form. That's right you have to build it yourself.The price is around €490.00 (without Raspberry Pi) & €570.00 (with Raspberry Pi)

I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY?- Yes, I am referring to the KYLIE MINOGUE song. This is also the title of the new musical: 'I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY: THE SCOTT AITKEN WATERMAN MUSICAL'. It's about songs produced by 'THE HIT FACTORY'. The show is written & directed by DEBBIE ISITT. KYLIE MINOGUE will appear digitally throughout the show. The tour for the musical will start in NOV 2023. It will continue until APRIL 2024
